TRS chief Kalvakuntla Kavitha strongly criticized Chief Minister Revanth Reddy over his remarks on reducing government schools from 27,000 to 4,000. She compared him to Hitler, alleging that such decisions would deprive poor and girl students of education. Kavitha accused the government of failing to effectively manage the education sector and claimed that these policies would widen inequalities.
She further highlighted confusion in the education system, pointing out delays in junior college affiliations and inconsistencies in degree admissions. Kavitha also raised concerns over student deaths in gurukul institutions and the non-payment of ₹11,000 crore fee reimbursement dues. She criticized the introduction of GO No.7, stating it could lead to exploitation by private institutions, and demanded its immediate withdrawal along with the implementation of a fee regulation law.
