Telangana Rakshana Sena president Kalvakuntla Kavitha has strongly criticized the government, alleging that Singareni workers are being denied justice in matters related to hereditary employment. Speaking at a gate meeting organized as part of the ‘Boggubayi Bata’ programme at the Kasipet mine in Mandamarri, Mancherial district, she said that efforts are being made to protect the interests of Singareni employees and safeguard the future of the organization.
Kavitha stated that the former TRS and the Hind Mazdoor Sabha (HMS) are working together for the protection of Singareni. She accused the state government of misleading workers and questioned why the Chief Minister and Deputy Chief Minister were submitting representations to officials instead of framing effective policies. Alleging attempts to privatize the Singareni Collieries, she asserted that a united struggle would be launched along with HMS to protect underground mines and the rights of workers.
