Congress’s Goal Is to Trouble BRS Leadership: KTR

BRS working president KT Rama Rao alleged that the Congress government has been primarily targeting the opposition, particularly BRS leadership and former Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao, since coming to power. He said the government should instead focus on implementing the promises made in its election manifesto. KTR alleged that commitments such as the Rs 2 lakh farm loan waiver, Rythu Bharosa and bonuses for farmers had not been fulfilled, and also raised the issue of pending fee reimbursement dues for students. He further claimed that farmers were protesting outside power substations seeking electricity. The remarks are part of KTR’s criticism of the Congress government and its governance.

Reacting to Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy’s allegations regarding land worth Rs 1 lakh crore allegedly linked to the KCR family, KTR said that if the government believed such assets existed, it should give them Rs 1,000 crore and they would hand over all their properties. He also accused the Chief Minister of making allegations against KCR and his family and criticised the government’s handling of the Kaleshwaram project issue. On the Formula E case, KTR said the race was organised to enhance Hyderabad’s profile and attract investments in the electric vehicle sector. He said he had already appeared before the court twice and would cooperate with the proceedings whenever summoned. KTR is facing proceedings in the Formula E case along with other accused.
