Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) Chief Mahesh Goud expressed strong confidence that the Congress party will retain power in the upcoming elections. He stated that even if Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) contest together, it would not affect Congress’s chances. He remarked that whether BRS is renamed as TRS or even BJRS, it would make no difference, asserting that those parties no longer have the strength to revive politically.
Mahesh Goud further alleged that all major agreements related to Singareni were signed during the BRS regime. He emphasized that the Congress faces no real competition in the next elections. Reacting to the possibility of K. T. Rama Rao (KTR) undertaking a padayatra, he said the Congress would welcome it.
