Revanth Reddy, Chief Minister of Telangana, strongly advised party legislators during the Congress Legislature Party (CLP) meeting, stressing the importance of discipline and active participation in the Assembly. The Chief Minister expressed concern over poor attendance, stating that some MLAs sign the register and leave without attending the proceedings. He reminded them that many party workers worked tirelessly to help them become MLAs and asked them not to disrespect their positions by staying away from the Assembly.
Revanth Reddy also encouraged MLAs, especially women legislators, to actively participate in debates and raise issues effectively in the Assembly. He urged members to counter opposition criticism, study governance models in other states, and prepare thoroughly on subjects before speaking. The Chief Minister warned against unnecessary media interactions and said performance in the Assembly would be considered while issuing future party tickets. He also asked ministers to allocate time for MLAs and stressed the need for better coordination from party whips.
