Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has directed district collectors and officials to ensure that all essential supplies reach families affected by Cyclone Montha without delay. During a teleconference held on Wednesday with ministers and district administrators, the Chief Minister emphasized the need to complete damage assessment reports quickly and restore normalcy in cyclone-hit areas. He appreciated the efforts of government staff, ministers, and local administration teams who worked together over the past few days to minimize the cyclone’s impact. Chandrababu noted that their teamwork from the Secretariat to the district level helped in effective disaster management.
He urged officials to continue the same level of commitment for the next two days to bring further relief to the affected people. The Chief Minister also instructed ministers and senior officials to personally visit impacted areas, explain the government’s relief measures, and listen to the concerns of the residents. Additionally, he directed authorities to assess damages across various departments and submit a comprehensive report to the central government for necessary assistance.
