Telugu Desam Party (TDP) chief and Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu said that it has come to his notice that some MLAs are giving importance to those who have recently joined from the YSRCP, sidelining long-time party cadres and senior leaders who have been with the party since its inception. He mentioned that he has been continuously gathering information from the ground level and made it clear that giving special preference to newcomers while ignoring the party’s loyal seniors is not acceptable.
During a review meeting held at the NTR Bhavan in Mangalagiri with various departments of the party office, Chandrababu gave key instructions. He issued clear guidelines on strengthening party activities, addressing public issues, and ensuring accountability among leaders. Speaking on the occasion, he advised MLAs to not just rely on their favorite local workers but to include senior members in the process. He said he monitors the party’s daily activities, reviews them weekly and monthly, and takes decisions based on public feedback. Chandrababu also added that he has complete information about each individual’s performance.
He urged the leaders to focus on energizing the cadre at the village and ward levels to strengthen the party at the grassroots. He emphasized coordination with alliance partners, maintaining discipline, and working with a spirit of service to reinforce public trust in the party. He directed that pending nominated posts be filled immediately after consulting with coalition partners, and that trust board committees be completed without delay. Party office staff were also present at the review meeting.
Chandrababu advised leaders to continuously counter the false propaganda being spread by YSRCP leaders and ensure that facts reach the people. He stated that under the PPP model, the construction of new medical colleges would provide quality healthcare for the poor and better education for underprivileged students. Expressing anger, he said that while the government is making rapid progress to complete medical colleges, YSRCP leaders are trying to obstruct it with false allegations. Referring to the recent Cyclone Mountha, he mentioned that the government responded swiftly to support farmers and citizens, yet Jaganmohan Reddy is spreading poison through his statements.
