Megastar Chiranjeevi’s Vishwambhara is one of the most awaited films among his fans. Directed by Vassishta, the film has been generating expectations as both Chiranjeevi and the director are said to have strong confidence in its content. However, the prolonged uncertainty over its theatrical release date has gradually affected the buzz surrounding the project.
The latest reports suggest that the film’s OTT deal has now been finalized, with Amazon Prime Video emerging as the platform that has secured its streaming rights after being in competition with SonyLIV. With the digital deal reportedly settled, the makers may now be in a position to announce the theatrical release date. At the same time, reports are doing the rounds that Vishwambhara could target next year’s Sankranti season, while Bobby’s Kaka is also being repeatedly positioned for the same festive window. The release plans of both films could therefore lead to an interesting situation in the coming days.
