A Stunning Take Off! Grey Heron Spotted Preparing for Flight

Before launching an attack, a lion often takes a couple of steps backwards and then strikes its target with incredible speed. Similarly, some birds carefully observe the wind direction and adjust their position before taking flight. A Grey Heron, known as the Narayana Pakshi in Telugu, was recently captured in a fascinating moment near Masab Cheruvu in the Turkayamjal outskirts. Standing on a concrete platform in the pond, the bird carefully prepared for take-off, stretching its body like an arrow ready to leave a bow.

The bird pushed its legs backwards with force and lifted itself into the air, resembling an aircraft taking off. At first glance, it appeared to be flying with just one leg, but a closer look revealed both its legs stretched behind its body.
