The United States government is preparing to take strict action against individuals who obtained citizenship through illegal means. According to media reports, around 384 individuals have already been identified for possible denaturalization. After imposing tighter visa restrictions, authorities are now focusing on revoking citizenship from those who fraudulently acquired it despite being born outside the country.
To speed up the process, the government is expected to assign a large number of cases to prosecutors across different states. Senior officials from the Justice Department have reportedly held meetings with regional litigators to accelerate the proceedings. However, there has been no official confirmation yet, and the identities of those identified remain undisclosed. Officials clarified that such action applies only to those who violated the citizenship process, while individuals with birthright citizenship are not affected.
