A Union Cabinet meeting will be held tomorrow under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The meeting is scheduled to begin at 11:30 AM. Key national issues, along with several administrative decisions, are expected to be discussed during the session. The Cabinet is also likely to outline the central government’s next course of action on important policy matters.
The meeting has gained added significance after the 131st Constitutional Amendment Bill, introduced for the implementation of the Women’s Reservation Act, was defeated in the Lok Sabha. Prime Minister Modi is expected to review the situation that emerged in the House along with alliance partners. Discussions are also likely to focus on future strategy and major decisions to be taken in the upcoming Cabinet session.
