India has started receiving crude oil shipments from Iran once again, taking advantage of a recent temporary approval granted by the United States. This marks the first time in nearly seven years that Iranian oil has reached Indian ports.
According to ship tracking data from the London Stock Exchange Group, two large crude oil tankers have already arrived at Indian ports. Earlier, oil imports from Iran were halted in May 2019 due to pressure from the United States.
