At the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam, the heavy rush of devotees continued on Monday morning as well. Since a large number of devotees visited Tirumala on Sunday, officials stated that today devotees are waiting across all 12 compartments for Srivari Darshan. For devotees without tokens, it will take approximately 8 hours to complete the Sarva Darshan, according to the TTD. Despite the winter chill and dropping temperatures, the crowd of devotees has not decreased.
On Sunday alone, 75,343 devotees had darshan of Lord Venkateswara, and among them, 26,505 devotees offered their hair. The Srivari Hundi collection for just one day amounted to ₹3.69 crore. In view of the growing crowds, TTD officials are issuing guidelines and making necessary arrangements in the queue lines for the devotees.
