Telangana government releases paddy bonus for farmers

The Telangana government has released a substantial bonus for paddy farmers. Pending bonus payments of ₹514.36 crore for the 2025–26 kharif season have been released, with an additional ₹500 per quintal bonus. This directly benefits 2.17 lakh paddy farmers across the state.

The funds have been disbursed through the Civil Supplies Corporation. So far, a total of ₹1939.58 crore has been paid as bonus. By providing an extra ₹500 per quintal on top of the MSP, the government has eased the financial burden on farmers.
