Telangana Excise Department Guidelines on Alcohol Sales for New Year Celebrations

The Telangana government has issued special orders regarding liquor sales for New Year celebrations. According to Excise Commissioner C. Harikiran, on December 31, bars, clubs, and events with proper permissions in tourism areas will be allowed to serve alcohol until 1 AM.

Additionally, four liquor shops have been permitted to sell alcohol until midnight, as per the Excise Commissioner’s directives. Excise enforcement officials have also announced that special inspections will be conducted on December 30 and 31 in view of the New Year celebrations.
