The Special Investigation Team (SIT) probing the phone tapping case has intensified its investigation by issuing fresh notices. As part of this process, a notice has been served to Kondal Reddy, brother of Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy. In addition, former BRS MLAs Jaipal Yadav and Chirumarthi Lingaiah have also been asked to appear before the SIT for questioning.
Officials confirmed that statements had already been recorded based on phone numbers allegedly involved in the tapping between November 15 and November 30, 2023. The SIT is now re-examining those statements in detail as part of the ongoing probe.
All the individuals concerned have been directed to appear before the SIT tomorrow at 11 a.m., signaling that the investigation has entered a crucial phase.
