In an effort to enhance the state's educational system, the Telangana government has made a major decision about hiring teachers. The Finance Department has received a file from the Directorate of School Education requesting permission to fill open teaching positions. This action is reportedly part of an attempt to address the long-standing problem of teacher shortages in government schools.
To expedite the hiring process, the government intends to administer the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) twice a year, according to officials. This will make it more likely that qualified applicants will be accepted as teachers. In order to meet the growing demand for teaching staff, the education department has advised that the hiring process starts as soon as possible.
Officials emphasized that conducting the TET regularly would enhance the quality of education by bringing in more skilled teachers and ensuring quicker filling of vacant posts. An official announcement about the TET schedule and hiring procedure is anticipated shortly after the proposal has been forwarded to the Finance Department for final approval.
