Telangana Minister Ponnam Prabhakar urged the Central Government to ensure the safety of Indian citizens, especially people from Telangana, in Gulf countries amid rising tensions following attacks involving Iran, Israel, and the United States. He stated that with many Indians, including a significant number of Telangana residents, living in the Gulf region, their protection must be a top priority.
The minister said the Telangana government is closely monitoring the situation and advised people not to panic but to remain alert. He directed the Telangana NRI Advisory Committee to immediately report any difficulties faced by residents in the Gulf to the state government. If the situation worsens, he assured that both the Central and State governments would take necessary steps to bring back Telangana citizens safely.
