Powerful Earthquake Strikes Sumatra Island

A strong earthquake once again jolted Indonesia, registering a magnitude of 6.1 on the Richter scale. The tremor’s intensity was confirmed by the United States Geological Survey (USGS). The quake struck earlier this morning, according to Indonesian local time, causing panic among residents.

However, there have been no reports so far of any casualties or property damage resulting from the earthquake. International news agency Agence France-Presse (AFP) stated that no loss of life or damage has been reported at this stage.
