Prime Minister Narendra Modi assured the nation that there is no shortage of gas or petrol in India, stating that adequate fuel supplies are available across the country. Addressing the Rajya Sabha, he emphasized that the government is closely monitoring the situation and ensuring uninterrupted access to essential energy resources.
Highlighting global concerns, Modi noted that over one million Indian workers are currently employed in Gulf countries and are facing challenges amid the ongoing conflict situation. He confirmed that around 3.75 lakh Indians have been safely evacuated so far. The government remains in continuous contact with the United States, Israel, and Iran to ensure the safety and well-being of Indian citizens abroad.
