

After the NDA’s sweeping victory in the recent Bihar Assembly elections, Nitish Kumar has taken oath as Chief Minister for the tenth time, marking a rare milestone in Indian political history. Recognizing this extraordinary achievement, the World Book of Records has officially included his name in its prestigious listings.
In a congratulatory letter sent to Nitish Kumar, the organization stated that ruling a state ten times is an exceptional accomplishment in democratic governance.
“From 1947 to 2025, you are the first person in India to take oath as Chief Minister ten times. This is a matter of pride for the nation. Your dedication and visionary leadership reflect the trust and admiration that the people of Bihar have in you,” the World Book of Records noted.
