New Year’s Day: Stay Home or End Up in Jail? You Decide – CP Sajjanar

Hyderabad City Police Commissioner Sajjanar warned that it is up to the public to decide whether they want to spend New Year’s Day peacefully at home with their families or behind bars. He made it clear that anyone caught in drunk-and-drive cases will be mandatorily sent to jail.

He stated that special drunk and drive checks are already underway across Hyderabad city and will continue until January 1. The Commissioner also urged citizens to strictly follow road safety norms and celebrate the New Year responsibly.
