A mild earthquake struck parts of Andhra Pradesh, causing light tremors in nearby areas. Officials confirmed that the quake measured 3.5 on the Richter scale. The epicenter was located about 20 kilometers from Vinukonda at a depth of nearly 10 kilometers beneath the earth’s surface. The tremors caused household items to shake, briefly triggering panic among residents.
Authorities clarified that no loss of life or property damage has been reported. However, experts have warned that minor aftershocks may occur over the next five days and advised residents to remain alert.
