The Maoists have issued an open letter to the Chief Ministers of Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, and Maharashtra, conveying their latest stand on the ongoing conflict in the region.
In the letter, they stated that they are willing to announce a formal date for surrender if the governments halt combing operations immediately. They also mentioned that after the encounter involving Basavaraju, the central committee assessed the need for organizational restructuring and strategic changes, following which instructions were sent to all zonal committees.
The Maoists assured that if police operations in these three states are stopped, they are prepared to lay down their arms without delay.
