Several foreign companies are showing strong interest in investing in Amaravati, the capital city of Andhra Pradesh. Recently, companies from Malaysia have stepped forward with proposals to make large-scale investments in the capital region. A Malaysian delegation arrived in Amaravati on Friday to explore opportunities in the People’s Capital. Senior government officials held detailed discussions with the delegation and briefed them on the progress of capital construction. Members of the Malaysian team expressed their readiness to invest in Amaravati.
In addition to Amaravati, the state government is actively promoting investment opportunities across various regions of Andhra Pradesh. Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and Minister Narayana, along with official delegations, have already toured several countries to attract global investments. These visits aimed to showcase the state’s infrastructure potential, policy support, and long-term development vision.
Meanwhile, a partnership summit was held under the aegis of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) in Visakhapatnam during the second week of November. The summit resulted in a surge of investment proposals for the state. It has also been confirmed that a Google data center will be established in Visakhapatnam, further strengthening Andhra Pradesh’s position as a major investment destination.
