Major Support for AI Research

IIT Delhi has announced that its alumnus Anant Yardi, founder of Yardi Systems, has donated ₹75 crore to support advanced research in artificial intelligence. A member of the 1968 batch, the 79-year-old expressed gratitude to the institution for providing him with a strong academic foundation. The contribution is expected to significantly boost cutting-edge research initiatives in the rapidly evolving field of AI.

In another innovative move, IIT Delhi has introduced its first-ever comic book aimed at simplifying the complex subject of Materials Engineering. Officials stated that the initiative is designed to make learning more engaging and accessible for students. The institute also plans to release more such comic books in the future to promote interest in technical education through creative formats.
