Union Home Minister Amit Shah is set to visit West Bengal as the Bharatiya Janata Party’s central observer for the crucial process of electing the legislative party leader. The chosen leader will subsequently be declared as the Chief Minister-designate, marking a significant political development in the state.
Accompanying him as co-observer will be Mohan Charan Majhi. The move underscores the BJP’s strategic approach in ensuring a smooth and coordinated leadership selection process within the party’s legislative wing.
