Weather conditions are set to shift once again in Andhra Pradesh, with the Amaravati Meteorological Department issuing cautionary alerts. While cold weather is already troubling people across the state, a developing low-pressure system is expected to bring significant rainfall.
A low-pressure area is likely to form over the South Andaman Sea today, and officials warn that it could intensify into a depression by Monday. Due to this system, several districts including Tirupati, Chittoor, Kadapa, Annamayya, Nellore, and Prakasam may experience light to heavy rainfall throughout the day.
Authorities have advised farmers to take adequate precautions to prevent crop damage and plan their agricultural activities carefully. Rainfall is expected to continue until tomorrow.
Meanwhile, Telangana is witnessing an intense cold wave, with temperatures dropping to between 6 and 10 degrees Celsius in several regions, causing severe discomfort to residents.
