Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan strongly reacted to the demolition of Bhoodan-allotted houses in Telangana’s Khammam district, alleging that the incident exposes the true nature of the Congress government in the state. According to reports, nearly 700 houses built on Bhoodan lands were demolished, leaving around 3,000 people homeless, triggering widespread political debate and criticism.
In a statement shared on social media, Vijayan described the action as a form of “bulldozer raj,” claiming it reflects a governance model that uses state power against economically weaker sections. He further stated that the Congress leadership in Kerala cannot distance itself from the incident and must respond to what he termed an assault on marginalized communities, intensifying the political discourse surrounding the issue.
