Speculation has intensified over alleged internal differences within Iran’s leadership amid rising tensions in West Asia. International media reports suggested that Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian was considering resignation due to the growing influence of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) in governance and decision-making. Reports claimed that the president had expressed concerns about being sidelined from key administrative and policy decisions, making it difficult to effectively discharge his responsibilities.
However, the Iranian government has strongly denied these reports. Officials clarified that President Pezeshkian has not resigned and continues to perform his duties. Senior officials from the presidential office dismissed the speculation as false and reaffirmed that the president remains committed to serving the country. The reports have drawn significant attention as Iran and the United States continue discussions on key diplomatic and regional issues.
