The Telangana High Court has delivered a crucial verdict on the 2015 Group-2 recruitment process. Following petitions alleging OMR sheet tampering during the examination, the court has set aside the selection list that was released in 2019.
During the judgment, the bench observed that TGPSC had violated earlier court directions, and issued strong remarks regarding procedural lapses. The court directed the commission to re-evaluate all OMR sheets and publish a revised final selection list within eight weeks.
After reviewing the petitions, the High Court found several irregularities and procedural errors in the selection process. As a result, it declared all processes carried out under the 2015 notification invalid and void.
This decision is expected to impact all selections and appointments made under that particular notification.
