At Tirumala Venkateswara Temple, the rush of devotees seeking darshan of Lord Sri Venkateswara Swamy has increased significantly. Owing to consecutive holidays, devotees from across the country are arriving in large numbers. All compartments in the Vaikuntham Queue Complex are fully occupied and the waiting lines have extended beyond the complex, stretching up to Silathoranam for several kilometers. Despite the intense heat, devotees are patiently waiting for darshan.
For general devotees without tokens, the waiting time for darshan is currently around 18 hours. On Sunday alone, a total of 86,091 devotees had darshan of the Lord. Among them, 29,664 devotees offered their hair as part of fulfilling their vows.
Through the offerings made by devotees, the temple’s hundi received a collection of ₹4.21 crore in a single day. In view of the heavy crowd, the TTD staff are continuously providing essential services such as milk, drinking water, and Annaprasadam to devotees waiting in the queue lines.
