The pilgrim rush in Tirumala has increased significantly. Thousands of devotees from various states and nearby regions arrived on Friday, leading to heavy congestion in and around the temple premises.
Devotees without tokens opting for Sarva Darshan are currently facing a waiting time of nearly 15 hours. Meanwhile, those holding the 300-rupee Special Darshan tickets are able to complete the darshan within about 2 hours.
As of Friday, all 30 compartments in the Vaikuntam Queue Complex were filled with devotees. According to TTD officials, a total of 59,548 pilgrims had darshan on Thursday, and the Srivari Hundi collection amounted to Rs. 4.54 crore.
Authorities expect the rush to intensify further over the coming weekend.
