GHMC Presents Budget for the 2026 – 27 Financial Year..

The GHMC Council has approved the budget for the financial year 2026 – 27 with a total outlay of Rs 11,460 crore. The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation generated an income of Rs 6,441 crore through various sources.

GHMC’s expenditure during the year stood at Rs 4,057 crore, resulting in a revenue surplus of Rs 2,384 crore. In addition, the corporation received Rs 400 crore in revenue grants.

An amount of Rs 2,260 crore has been allocated for the development of newly merged municipalities. Officials stated that the 27 merged municipalities together generated a revenue of Rs 1,860 crore.
