Australian star cricketer David Warner has been arrested in a case related to driving under the influence of alcohol. According to Australian media reports, Sydney police took him into custody on Tuesday. Warner reportedly pulled his vehicle aside after noticing police conducting breath testing on the road. Suspicious officers then conducted a test using a breath analyzer, which confirmed that he had consumed alcohol beyond the permissible limit, leading to his arrest.
He was subsequently taken to the police station and later released on bail. Warner is expected to appear before the court next month in connection with the case. Currently, he is serving as the captain of the Karachi Kings in the Pakistan Cricket League. He had recently returned to Australia on personal leave and is expected to travel back to Pakistan soon to rejoin the league.
