Cyclone Alert: Schools Closed in Several Andhra Pradesh Districts

In view of the cyclone warning and expected heavy rains, authorities in Andhra Pradesh have announced school holidays across several districts as a precautionary measure.

October 27 & 28: Holidays declared in East Godavari, Annamayya, and Kadapa districts.
October 27, 28 & 29: Schools to remain closed in NTR, Bapatla, Krishna, and Guntur districts.

In Konaseema district, the Collector has instructed officials to declare holidays based on the rainfall intensity. Officials added that more districts may be added to the holiday list depending on the cyclone’s impact.
