Cold Wave Alert in Telangana: Orange Alert Issued for 8 Districts

The Meteorological Department has warned that cold conditions are likely to intensify further over the next two days. In several regions, minimum temperatures are expected to drop by 2 to 3 degrees Celsius below normal levels.

In view of this, an Orange Alert has been issued for the districts of Adilabad, Asifabad, Nirmal, Kamareddy, Medak, Siddipet, Sangareddy and Vikarabad.

Experts have advised the public to step out during the early morning and late-night hours only if absolutely necessary and to take adequate precautions to protect themselves from the cold.
