

The Eco Hill Park constructed in Kotwalaguda was inaugurated by Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy. On the occasion, he also laid the foundation stone for the Radial Road–2 interchange that will connect with the Budwel layout. The event was attended by Legislative Council Chief Whip Mahender Reddy, MP Konda Vishweshwar Reddy, Mallu Ravi, MLAs Prakash Goud and Mal Reddy Ranga Reddy, former CM advisor Vem Narender Reddy, along with senior officials of HMDA. Following the inauguration, the Chief Minister visited the Eco Hill Park and also launched the Birds Aviary set up within the park.
Speaking at the event, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy shared his views on the development of Hyderabad city. He said many filmmakers are traveling abroad for movie shootings, but there is no city in the country more beautiful than Hyderabad. He stated that with good governance, Hyderabad can be developed into a world-class city. The Chief Minister recalled that during the tenures of former Chief Ministers N. Chandrababu Naidu and Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy, water from the Krishna and Godavari rivers was brought to the city. He also mentioned that during the Nizam era, flood prevention works on the Musi River were undertaken with the guidance of engineer Mokshagundam Visvesvaraya.
The Chief Minister further noted that Hyderabad is home to several historic landmarks such as Osmania Hospital, Golconda Fort and the Assembly building. However, he pointed out that the city is currently facing issues like encroachments and waste accumulation. Revanth Reddy said the government is committed to transforming the city and announced plans to develop Shamshabad into a future bullet train hub connecting Bengaluru, Amaravati and Chennai. He assured that people affected by new projects would be supported and that all necessary facilities would be provided to those displaced. The Chief Minister also announced plans to develop a Musi Riverfront and establish a night economy along the riverbank to generate employment opportunities.
