

The 77th Republic Day celebrations were held with grandeur at the Secunderabad Parade Grounds on Sunday. Telangana Governor Jishnu Dev Varma hoisted the national flag and received the ceremonial guard of honour from the police. Prior to the main event, the Governor paid floral tributes at the Martyrs’ Memorial. Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka, along with cabinet ministers and senior officials, participated in the celebrations.
Addressing the gathering, Governor Jishnu Dev Varma stated that the people’s government was formed in Telangana two years ago with a strong commitment to inclusive development. He said the government aims to transform the state into a three-trillion-dollar economic power, in line with the vision of Viksit Bharat. The Governor highlighted that development initiatives are being implemented through the CURE, PURE, and RARE policy frameworks. He also announced that recruitment for Group 1, 2, and 3 government posts has been completed and assured that 3,500 Indiramma houses are being provided in every assembly constituency.
