Mega Power Star Ram Charan successfully underwent wrist surgery at Ganga Hospital in Coimbatore. He sustained the injury during the shooting of the film ‘Peddi’. Initially, it was believed that rest would suffice, but as the severity of the injury increased, doctors recommended surgery. The procedure was successfully carried out under the supervision of expert hand surgeons. Doctors have advised Ram Charan to take at least two months of rest along with physiotherapy.
Despite having access to renowned hospitals like Apollo and Kamineni, associated with his wife Upasana’s family, Ram Charan chose Ganga Hospital for a specific reason. The hospital is widely recognized in India for its expertise in orthopedic treatments, especially complex hand and wrist surgeries. The surgery was performed by Dr. Praveen Bharadwaj, a specialist in hand surgery, along with Dr. N. Rajasekaran, who has global recognition. The decision was made to ensure the best micro-surgical expertise for such a delicate injury.
