The Paradise First Talk

Nani and Srikanth Odela’s ‘The Paradise’ has generated significant buzz across the Telugu states. The songs and teaser have already received attention, raising expectations ahead of the premieres. The film has reportedly received an ‘A’ certificate due to intense violence and raw, rustic action sequences. The censor process is said to have resulted in 21 suggested changes, along with the muting of certain objectionable dialogues. Following the changes, the film’s final runtime has reportedly been fixed at 2 hours and 45 minutes.

According to the early talk, the story is set in 1984 in and around Secunderabad’s Paradise area and follows Jadal Jamana, played by Nani, who belongs to an oppressed Savari community. His struggle against discrimination and the forces suppressing his community forms the core of the story. The film reportedly features four major action sequences, an unexpected interval block and an engaging final 40 minutes. Nani’s performance, Anirudh Ravichander’s background score and the emotional sequences are being cited as key strengths in the early response. The mother-son relationship is also said to be an important emotional element. However, the actual audience response and the film’s overall impact will become clearer after the premieres.
