The Lives I Witnessed in Hospitals Shaped Me as an Actress: Sreeleela

Leading Telugu actress Sreeleela has revealed that her medical education and experiences during hospital postings played a major role in shaping her as an actress. As part of her MBBS course, she closely witnessed numerous real-life stories, including people dealing with joy, grief, life, death, financial struggles and emotional challenges. She said these experiences gave her a deeper understanding of people and completely changed her perspective on the world.

Sreeleela said her medical education has been immensely useful in her acting journey, as an actor needs life experience, awareness and the sensitivity to understand human emotions. She added that the contrast between the glamorous world of cinema and witnessing the realities of life and death in hospitals brought greater maturity to her as a performer. Sreeleela is currently working opposite Kartik Aaryan in a musical drama directed by Anurag Basu, which will mark her Bollywood debut.
