HYDRAA Commissioner A.V. Ranganath has approached the Telangana High Court in connection with the Shanta Sriram Constructions case. He has challenged the earlier order of a single judge seeking his removal from the case and the appointment of another officer. Two appeals filed by Ranganath against Shanta Sriram Constructions are listed for fresh admission before the Telangana High Court.
The dispute involving Shanta Sriram Constructions and actions by HYDRAA has already gone through multiple rounds of proceedings. In its June 10 order, the High Court dealt with allegations regarding HYDRAA officials entering the disputed property and referred to undertakings given in earlier proceedings. With Ranganath now challenging the earlier direction through an appeal, the matter has once again come before the High Court for consideration.
