

Actress Shalini Pandey, who rose to fame among Telugu audiences with ‘Arjun Reddy’, has strongly responded to a deepfake video being circulated online in her name. She clarified that the video is completely fabricated and was created using artificial intelligence technology, adding that the person seen in it is not her. Shalini expressed concern over the misuse of technology to target individuals, particularly women, and described such acts as a form of harassment.
Shalini Pandey urged people not to share, forward or download the fake video and requested them to report it immediately to prevent its further spread. She called on everyone to act responsibly and help stop the circulation of fabricated content. Shalini, who has appeared in films such as ‘Arjun Reddy’, ‘Mahanati’, ‘Jayeshbhai Jordaar’ and ‘Maharaj’, has now joined the list of celebrities affected by the growing menace of deepfake content.
