Young Tollywood producer Dheeraj Mogilineni, who recently co-produced the successful film Chennai Love Story, shared his views on one of the biggest challenges facing the Telugu film industry. During a recent interview, he said that unnecessarily extending film production for three years has become a major concern for the industry.
Dheeraj stated that directors like S. S. Rajamouli and Sukumar may require more time because of the scale of their projects, but many others are also taking excessive time without necessity. He said such delays restrict actors to a single project, disappoint fans, and increase the financial burden on producers. According to him, completing a film within 10 months to a year, or at most within 14–15 months, would help ensure healthier growth for both producers and the industry.
