Reports suggest that he may undergo another shoulder surgery soon, and it could take around six to seven months for full recovery. This has raised concerns that he may stay away from films during this period, leading to further delays in the much-anticipated sequel.

Amid this, music director Thaman sparked fresh excitement among fans during the pre-release event of Varun Tej’s ‘Korean Kanakaraju’. When asked about ‘OG 2’, he hinted that fans should wait until September for a major update. With earlier buzz suggesting a special announcement around Pawan Kalyan’s birthday, Thaman’s comments have increased expectations of a glimpse or poster release. Directed by Sujeeth, the film is expected to expand the ‘OG’ universe on a grand scale.
