Massive Pre-Release Business for Shah Rukh Khan's King!

Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan is gearing up to make a strong impact at the box office once again with his upcoming film ‘King’. Directed by Siddharth Anand, the movie has already generated massive expectations among audiences. According to reports, the film has recorded pre-release business worth approximately Rs 665 crore worldwide. The business reportedly includes overseas distribution rights, domestic theatrical rights, Netflix, satellite and music rights. With such impressive figures, ‘King’ has become a major talking point in the film industry even before its theatrical release.

However, achieving box-office collections that match its massive pre-release business is now the biggest challenge for the film. Reports suggest that the production budget is around Rs 500 crore, with an additional Rs 40 crore allocated for promotions. The film is reportedly expected to collect approximately Rs 800 crore worldwide to recover its overall investment. Scheduled for a Christmas release on December 24, ‘King’ features Shah Rukh Khan alongside Suhana Khan, Deepika Padukone, Rani Mukerji and Abhishek Bachchan in important roles. It remains to be seen whether the film will live up to its enormous expectations and create new box-office records.
