Suriya’s ‘Scene’ Gets Massive Bookings There.. But What About Here?

Tamil star Suriya's latest film Scene is gearing up for release as his third film of the year. The movie has generated considerable buzz among audiences, but it is entering a competitive box-office race. Interestingly, the film is recording encouraging advance bookings online, with the Tamil version leading the way. The strong response in Tamil has raised expectations about its opening performance.

However, the Telugu version is yet to gain similar momentum. With Ramayana dominating audience attention in the Telugu market, Scene will need strong positive word of mouth to attract more moviegoers. Whether the Telugu bookings pick up closer to release remains to be seen. Directed by Jithu Madhavan, the film features Nazriya and Naslen in important roles. Suriya and Jyothika have produced the project.
