Andhra Pradesh may face another cyclone threat following the recent Arnab and Murasu storms, which reportedly caused significant damage across parts of the state. Before coastal areas can fully recover from their impact, weather models are indicating the possibility of a new cyclonic system developing over the Bay of Bengal after November 15. The potential impact is expected to be concentrated around parts of coastal Andhra Pradesh, Rayalaseema and northern Tamil Nadu. November and December are generally considered active months for cyclonic activity over the Bay of Bengal, and weather experts are closely monitoring the developing conditions.

According to the preliminary forecasts, Nellore, Tirupati, Chittoor and Annamayya districts could experience the effects of the system, with the possibility of heavy to very heavy rainfall and rough sea conditions. However, these are early indications from weather models and do not confirm that a cyclone will definitely form. Officials say a clearer picture of its movement, intensity and possible landfall location will emerge only after the development of a low-pressure system during the second week of November. The disaster management authorities have stated that they are monitoring changing weather conditions and will provide updates as more information becomes available. People in potentially affected areas are advised to follow official weather alerts.
