Bollywood star Shahid Kapoor, despite working on multiple films, has not been able to deliver the expected box office success in recent times. He is now gearing up to entertain audiences with “Cocktail 2,” co-starring Kriti Sanon and Rashmika Mandanna. The film has completed its shoot and is set for release on June 19. During the promotions, Shahid made candid remarks about his recent failures, revealing that he has completely changed his approach to selecting scripts.
Reflecting on consecutive flops, Shahid said that success is not directly linked to experience in the industry and that films often turn out unpredictably. He admitted that as an actor, one does not have full control over the final outcome, as the director’s vision ultimately shapes the film. He also shared that the failures affected him mentally and led to a major change in his decision-making process. Shahid revealed that he no longer listens to scripts alone and now involves a team of three members to gain multiple perspectives. He hopes that “Cocktail 2” will mark a turning point in his career.
